INGREDIENTS:
- 500g of flour
- 1.5 cc of salt
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 sachet of dried yeast
- 60g of butter at room temperature
- grated zest of half a lemon
- 4 tablespoons of raisins
- 3 dl warm milk
- 1 beaten egg for basting
- small sugar and flaked almonds
PREPARATION:
- Mix the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, butter, lemon zest and raisins in a bowl
- Add the warm milk, knead for about 10 minutes in a soft and smooth dough
- Cover, allow to double in volume at room temperature (about 2 hours)
- Shaping: divide the dough into 10 pieces, form a large ball with 2 portions, place it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper
- Form balls with the remaining eight dough pieces, put the bean in one, distribute them around the large ball
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes
- Brush with egg and garnish with small sugar and flaked almonds
- Cooking about 30 minutes in the oven preheated to 180 ° C
Before making this recipe, I put my raisins in a cup of tea to soften them. I just drain them before adding them to the recipe.
