GRILLED LOBSTER

Grilled lobsters are forever and always delicious! A real treat for the taste buds and then it’s really just so cozy a dish to gather around. Whether it’s a hot summer day in the garden or whether it’s the starter for the New Year’s menu, lobsters are a hit and the delicious lobster meat tastes so delicious, mild and delicious.
Here you get my favourite recipe for the grilled lobsters and it is really simple and easy. Simply with gremolata, cold butter, good bread and a glass of white wine.
INGREDIENTS
1 kg lobster
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove of garlic
1 handful of broad-leaved parsley
1 organic lemon
salt
black pepper, freshly ground
ACCESSORIES
1 loaf of bread, eg casserole bread or cold-raised flutes
50 g butter
1 lemon, cut into boats
PREP:
Turn on the grill and make sure it is well warmed.
Split the lobsters lengthwise with a sharp knife lengthwise and remove the intestine running along the back of the lobster. Brush the meat side well with oil and grill the lobsters on a hot grill for 1-2 minutes with the meat side down. Turn them over and give them another 1-2 minutes on the shell side. Serve on a platter and immediately spread gremolata butter over, which melts into the delicious lobster meat.
GREMOLATA BUTTER
Chop garlic, parsley, lemon zest, salt and pepper on a cutting board for a fine gremolata. Flip it with butter and a little lemon juice. Stir well to a delicious soft gremolata spice butter.
TIPS FOR THE RECIPE
When there are fresh herbs in season and summer is upon us, I occasionally vary the gremolata by adding a bit of mint, cilantro, dill or tarragon. Not much and not all at once.
The season for fresh lobsters is from late July to October, where they can be purchased at Fish & Co. We do not get around the fact that they are completely eminent when they are fresh and fresh in season. But it is now also fine to buy them on frost and the rest of the year, out of season, then you can find them on frost – also in many supermarkets. Let them thaw slowly in the refrigerator until the next day before grilling.
Lobsters can also be grilled in the oven grill. Put them on a baking sheet lined with foil. Spread gremolata butter over and grill them on the oven grill function, on top of the oven for about 3-5 minutes. Check along the way and make sure they do not get too much so that the meat gets dry.
The same recipe can also be used for serving lobster tails.
